Bron Ruseval Sangiovese Cabernet Forli igt Celli 2011. Alcohol content 14% vol. Grape varieties: 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged for 12 months in barriques and 8 months in the bottle. Dark ruby red colour. On the nose, aromas of berry fruit, cherries, sweet spices, floral notes of violet, anise and balsamic notes. Warm, full-bodied taste, with mouth-filling tannins; long fruity and spicy trail. A few more months to get it perfectly balanced. Food pairing: lasagne with meat sauce or veal stew.
Barbera Alba doc Enzo Boglietti 2017. Alcohol content 14.5% vol. Entirely made from Barbera grapes. It ages for 9 months in steel vats and barriques. The colour is ruby/purplish red, compact and deep. Fresh aroma of red fruit, pomegranate, blackberry, blueberry, wild herbs and light liquorice. On the palate it is lively and slim-bodied, with the right acidity and sweet tannins. Juicy, savoury and balanced; long fruity finish. Let's match it with polenta with porcini mushrooms or grilled sausages.
